Rehearsal Pictures from Marat/Sade

During rehearsals for Marat/Sade, the actors were required to wear certain colored shirts, depending on their character. Patients wore white, nurses wore gray shirts, nuns wore greenish-blue shirts, Coulmier and his family wore blue shirts and Sade wore a red shirt. This play took a lot of concentration and the color-coding helped a lot. Can you imagine how badly they smelled? (yuck!)
